Please mark your calendars and save the date for the 2008 CUB retreat which will be held in Carlsbad, CA on Friday, October 17 through Sunday morning, October 19. All members of the adoption triad and those who support us are welcome to attend. The goal of the CUB retreat is to create an environment for renewal, devotion, healing, peace and an escape from the pressures of ordinary life. It is a time to come together with those who know and understand the challenges we face as members of the adoption triad. A program that supports this goal is in process and we will be providing more information as these plans become formalized.
The 2008 CUB retreat will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach hotel in California. The hotel is directly across from the beach about 25 miles North of San Diego. Guest accommodations include one King or two Queen beds. Each guestroom has complimentary high-speed internet access, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, iron and board.

Fly into San Diego or Carlsbad airport. San Diego is approximately 45 minutes away. The Carlsbad airport is approximately 10 minutes away. For ground transportation options to and from the airport, see Cloud 9 Shuttle or Primetime Shuttle. Both are approximately $30 one-way.
